You are feeding too much of the
wrong kind of fat!!

The trend today is to go to a higher fat diet for out animals. The idea is a good one, but you must consider which form of fat you are feeding. The only kind of fat that can be used in a commercial feeds is one that is processed. Processing destroys beneficial essential fatty acids.

There are many forms or types of fat but the fat in your feed is primarily processed Omega-6 fatty acid. You can't get around it, that is all thet can put in feed. Corn oil is worse yet, 98% Omega-6. This causes the ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 to be out of balance with Omega being 10 -20 times the desirable levels.

Feeding too much of the wrong kind of fats will create a pro-inflammatory, immune suppressed, catabolic (muscle wasting) state.
